SS Rajamouli

S.S. Rajamouli is one the most successful film directors in Tollywood. He is the son of popular tollywood story writer Vijayendra Prasad. He was introduced as director by K. Raghavendra Rao. His hits include Student No. 1 and Simhadri, both had given success to Jr. NTR. Rajamouli movies boast good story and technical values and a powerful package. He is also the cousin of music directors M. M. Keeravani and Kalyani Malik.

Rajamouli used to direct TV serials under the guidance of his guru K. Raghavendra Rao. He impressed K. Raghavendra Rao and got the chance to direct Student No. 1.

Rajamouli was attacked in a quarry of hyderabad during Vikramarkudu's shoot and was seriously injured. He has a hand fracture and survived.

Allu Aravind's banner Geeta Arts is a famous and well-respected film production house in the South. Magadheera Releases again

It seems that “Magadheera” has still more to give to the audience. It is said that movie makers are planning to replace some of the existing scenes with deleted scenes and re-release the movie after 100 days in few selected theaters with limited prints.

Let us wait and see if this new strategy works for film makers.

Ek Niranjan will be on October 29

Ek Niranjan starring Prabhas is his second movie in the direction of Poori Jagannath. The movie is produced by Aditya Ram under Aditya Ram Movies Banner. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is paired with Prabhas in the movie. Music is scored by Mani Sharma.

The shooting part of the movie is completed except for two songs. A set worth 3 crores is being built at Hyderabad in an area of eight acres to picturise songs. Earlier, the movie has been in Switzerland and Bangkok. Movie makers are planning to release audio in September and the movie on October 29.

The other star cast in the movie includes Sonu Sood, Mukul Dev, Makarand Deshpande., Brahmanandam, Ali, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali and Sunil.

Sankham Releasing in the First Half of September

“Sankham” starring Gopi Chand and Trisha is getting ready to hit the screens. The movie is directed by Shiva. This is second movie coming in the combination of Gopi Chand and Shiva, the first one being “Shouryam.” J Bhagwan, J Pulla Rao jointly produced the movie under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner. Music is scored by Thaman.

“Sankham” is said to be an action-based entertainer. The audio of the movie has been released recently. Currently, post production works are in progress. The movie is expected for release in the first half of September.

Kurradu Audio Releasing 4 September

“Kurradu” starring Varun Sandesh and Neha Sharma is getting ready for release. Post production works have come close to completion. Movie makers are planning to release the audio on 4 September.

“Kurradu” is directed by a debutant director, Gunnam Sandeep and produced by P Kiran under Anandi Arts Banner. The movie also introduces a new music director, Achhu to Telugu Cinema. The other star cast in the movie includes Tanikella Bharini, B Ravi, M S Narayana, Ali, Naveen and Venu. The movie is expected for release during Dasera season.

Akhil - Not interested in Acting

The two generations of Akkineni family, Akkineni Nageswara Rao , his son nagarjuna , has been contributing a lot to the Telugu Film Industry. Now, the third generation from the same family Naga Chaitanya is making his debut with full Jhosh on September 3rd. There are speculations about Akhil the younger brother of Naga Chaitanya  entry into film industry. But, recently he denied having any interest in acting in the films. He said that, “I am very much interested in playing cricket than acting in the films. I like to be recognised as a cricket player, and hence taking training in Australia. I hope one day I will be able to make my place in Indian cricket team. So far, I will put all my effort on it, while continuing my studies”

Samardhudu on 19 September

“Samardhudu” is the story of a person who fights for the welfare of the people. Rebel Star Krishnam Raju is playing a key role in the movie. He plays the character called “J K,” which means “janam Kosam” (for people). The movie stars Raja and Sanjana in the lead. Raja is also said to play a different role in the movie.

“Samardhudu” is directed by a debutant director, Arjun and produced jointly by Akula Suresh Patel and M. Venkatarami Reddy. The movie had recently received approval form Censor Board. Movie makers are planning to release the movie on 19 September.

Komaram Puli in Bangkok

Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie is “Komaram Puli.” After “Jalsa,” which was a huge box office hit, he had taken quite a long time for his next movie. His new movie “Komaram Puli” is in quick progress. The movie is currently being shot in Bangkok. S J Surya is directing the movie. “Komaram Puli” is the second movie coming in their combination. Earlier, both Pawan Kalyan and S J Surya worked for “Kushi.”

Nikisha Patel, a new comer is playing the lead female role in the movie. Ace music director, A R Rehman is scoring music. Singanamala Ramesh Babu is producer. The other star cast of the movie includes Manoj Bajpai, Charan Raj, Nassar, Jyothi Krishna, Saranya, Brahmaji, Ali, V M C Haneefa and Girish Karnad.

Makers of “Komaram Puli” are planning to release it in the second half of December

Josh Release Post poned

Josh Movie which was suppose to release on August 12 has been post poned to 29 of August, later on it has been postponed to 3 of September, but due to the mystery of Chief Minister it has been postponed later. The date will be announced Later

Pawan Kalyan Birthday

Pawan Kalyan born as Konidela Kalyan on 2 September 1973.

He is the younger brother of Telugu actor and politician - Chiranjeevi and actor/producer Nagendra Babu.
